All In His Timing

There was a day I will never forget. I was standing in the shower, broken after my second divorce, crying out to God for strength because I truly didn’t know how I was going to make it through. In that moment, I surrendered. I admitted I wasn’t in control. And that was the beginning of a shift in my life.

From that point on, I started to trust Him—really trust Him. It wasn’t overnight, and it hasn’t always been easy, but I have seen firsthand how letting go of fear makes room for God to move. When I stopped trying to control everything, opportunities began showing up at just the right time. Doors opened that I never could have pushed through on my own. Blessings arrived that I never thought I deserved.

I’ve learned that what is meant for me will always find me. Fear tries to keep us small, but God calls us to step forward even when we don’t see the whole path. His plan has always been bigger, richer, and more beautiful than anything I could have dreamed for myself. And the best part? He has never left me—not once. And I know He never will.

And if you’re facing something right now that makes fear start to creep in—fear that tries to sabotage your next step—remember this: change can be good. Sometimes you just have to take the leap of faith. You’ll never know how great it could be if you never try. Don’t play small—God didn’t create you to stay in the shadows.

So when fear rises, I remind myself: push past it, keep moving forward, and trust that His timing is perfect. Because it is.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” — Jeremiah 29:11
