G=Goals O=Outlook A=Authentic T=Truth(#coateisaGOAT)
This week has been an emotional roller coaster for me. I know part of it comes from burning the candle at both ends. My exhaustion goes beyond just the physical—it’s mental, emotional, and spiritual. And I know I’m not alone.
Scrolling through the internet tonight, I was reminded of that. I saw SEC football teams taking a knee to pray before the games. I saw people boldly pledging their lives to Christ. I even saw people who have never known the Word of the Lord talk about being excited to find a church, ready to commit to living a life more like Jesus would want us to live.
It’s a strange but powerful thing to realize that the death of someone I’ve never met has stirred something in me—a boldness in my faith. An urgency to live as a light, to reflect Him.
I believe we are living in the middle of a shift in our country. I believe more and more people will turn toward unifying communities instead of fueling division. And I pray this revival, this stirring for Christ, will not fade away but only grow stronger.
This awakening in me has given me hope, but also responsibility. It makes me want to be a better steward—not just with my finances, but also with my time, my home, and my daily habits. I want to use the resources I’ve been blessed with wisely and faithfully.
It feels strange to say it, but this season of exhaustion has also filled me with purpose. I feel more excited than ever to live as a walking testimony—to shine a light, to share the Word, and to keep growing into the person God is calling me to be.
Maybe you feel the same stirring. Maybe you’ve been tired, overwhelmed, or even spiritually drained. If so, I encourage you to pause and ask: What is God awakening in me right now?
I believe the answer could be the start of something powerful.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28
